Management system - model
The model views the management system as nine inter-related parts- termed criteria. These are highlighted in the right-hand column.
 
Each criteria has a [number] of key-points, called sub-criteria.

Best practice guidance
For each of the key-points there are areas to address, that provide guidance about best practices.

Assessment process For each of the key-points:
gather information on each of the areas to address
understand how the organisation addresses that key-point
capture strengths & opportunities - to give ideas on what may need changed to improve performance
optionally - score their current performance for that key-point
 

Scoring scheme
Assign key-point score : use pre-defined scoring dimensions, listed in the right-hand column
A way to consolidate scores into criteria scores and an overall system score
